How can I discuss with my husband without getting him upset?

 I want you to know that most men are impatient.  Remember that women are supposed to be  helpmates. The man is the head of the family. So women are to play a complimentary role. The truth is that you upset him by the things you choose to talk about. He feels that you should talk about something that is more important. Have you ever tried to find out what he loves. If he is a lover of football, you can never get him upset my talking about football. That does not mean you should only talk about what he loves. All I am trying to say is for you to look for a common ground where both of you can flow. Some men will try to avoid their wives because of what she chooses to talk about. Some men will choose to stay out most of the time. Research has shown that most divorces are as a result of break in communication. God is the originator of marriage. He is the only person that can bring harmony in your home. My prayer is that God will heal every home that is hurting right now in Jesus Name.

How would you feel when your child, who is between five to ten years, starts crying. And when  people ask him why he is  crying. The child responds by saying,  I don't have food to eat. You feel bad isn't it? So how will your heavenly father feel, when any of his chilld  is  anxious for food, clothing etc. David said, I was young and now I am old, I have not seen the righeous being forsaken or his child begging bread. Child of God, you will never beg for bread. I decree, the Lord will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

My husband is a drunkard. What do I do?

Was he drinking before you got married? If he was drinking before you married him,, then learn to live with it. But if he started drinking after you must have married him, something drove him into drinking. Most men start drinking when they are frustrated. Others drink when they have a nagging wife. Some drink because of the kind of friends they have. My counsel is for you to be  more understanding. The Bible says that good understanding giveth favour. The way out is not to fight him, but  pray for him. Prayer changes things. There is no man God cannot change. Pray for him daily and you will have a testimony.

What do I do if my husband does not provide for the family?
The Bible says anyman that does not provide for the family is worst than an infidel. I have always counselled women not to be troubled by the man's attitude but work with their hands like the virtuous woman. I've seen some women become bitter and  look miserable. My question is why should you die because a man refused to provide for the upkeep of the family. It is not supposed to be so. If I may ask, if the man was not there will you not take care of your Children? Remember there are many widows out there who take care of their family. Thank God for the man, but if he does not want to play his role, then I recommend you hand him over to God and enjoy your life. God is aware of what you are going through and  He will help you, if you ask Him to. Remember, we can do all things through Christ that loves us.
